Just waiting at the station of a calm and damp Bath evening/ watching the couples scurry home/ one by one they disappear, in the cooling autumn air/ the voiceless traffic sings a sombre tone//
I remember back when that was us/ late night so adventurous/ mischievous/ loud music and devious kids/ lay back in the grass on a calm night/ kiss you tell you everything is alright/ it's true the only thing to see was the star light/ but who could've know they could be so bright/ we could draw in sky with our finger tips/ or I could trace up the side of your neck with my lips/ I think about you everywhere that I rome/ sometimes I just miss home//
Think back we were never alone/ 3 new texts on my mobile phone/ pick me up at home/ drive away, gone/ then try to figure out what street we're on/ pit stop for some coffee or tea/ I guess I never told you what was bothering me/ I'm too scared to commit baby/ so I backed off before we're in too deep/ I'm loosing sleep/ thinking of you/ questioning my actions and also my views/ I think back how you reacted to/ me heading out for a land thats new/ I think about the first time we kissed/ and all the good times that I would've missed/if we gave up and went our ways/ I would've never had these/ memories/ of our happy days//
