SEE ANOTHER DAY
VERSE ONE:
Someday soon, you'll find your way/ forget the quaffs and quarrels of yesterday/ when your hearts breaking and you can not see the light/ everything illuminates even the darkest nights/ and we'll sing about the battles we thought we'd never win/ and somehow we all managed with support of a kin/ and lurking in the shadows may be our lives now past/ but remember days a'coming, this night will never last//
CHORUS:
Living life again/ wanting this bad luck to end/ we just need a friend/ to help us see the sun is rising/ all we can do/is know help is on way/ for me and you/ we'll see another day//
VERSE TWO:
Sometimes your world, can look a bit hopeless/ but if you don't look up you'll never know what you missed/ don't let this one chance ever pass you by/ it can be a struggle but it makes rewards in our lives/ we'll sing about the battles we thought we'd never win/ and somehow we all managed with support of a kin/ and lurking in the shadows may be our lives now past/ but remember days a'coming, this night will never last//
CHORUS:
Living life again/ wanting this bad luck to end/ we just need a friend/ to help us see the sun is rising/ all we can do/is know help is on way/ for me and you/ we'll see another day//
BRIDGE:
Now the blood runs through your veins/ heart is racing and all ration leaves your brain/ please lower your fist/ nothing good will ever come from your violence//
CHORUS:
Living life again/ wanting this bad luck to end/ we just need a friend/ to help us see the sun is rising/ all we can do/is know help is on way/ for me and you/ we'll see another day//
WHATCHUKNOW
I was watching a documentary so many years ago/ Bernie Rhodes told The Clash to write about what you know/ I've held on to this sentiment as I've been writing songs/ and hoping there's a few tunes that you'll help sing along/
As we go dancing, to some drum & bass/ or to big band jazz if you fancy that taste/ I'm singing folk songs to a hip-hop beat/ and you're grooving on the dance floor, moving your feet//
I don't have any money/ and I can't sing you a song/ and even if i tried I'd probably get the whole thing wrong/ 'cause I can't remember lyrics/ I just make them as I go/ but when I do put pen to pad I write about what I know//
As we go dancing, to a punk rock song/ or maybe house or Bhangra, we'll dance all night long/ I'm singing folk songs to a hip hop beat/ while you're grooving on the dance floor, moving your feet//
I've dabbled in any genre I could think to do/ and though the instruments may change, my message still stands true/ go for what you're dreaming and let your colours show/ but when in doubt just choose the route and stick to what you know//
I'm going dancing to a country band/ and we can dance the night away if you would take my hand/ I'm singing love songs to a hip hop beat/ you're grooving on the dance floor moving your feet//
